The son of 1983 MD alumni Vic and Liz Thomas has been nominated by CNN as one of its Top 10 Heroes. The public decides the winner, who receives $100,000 towards their foundation. UF College of Medicine alumni had a homecoming of their own at the 2009 Alumni Reunion weekend, Friday, Nov. 6 thru Sunday, Nov. 8.
