Welcome to the UF College of Medicine Alumni Affairs home page. We are proud to serve and represent the broad array of alumni who were trained here – M.D.s, M.D./Ph.D.s, physician assistants and former housestaff.
UF Medical Alumni Affairs exists to meaningfully engage alumni in the education, research and patient-care mission of the College of Medicine as well as serve current medical students and housestaff in a way that they will remain significantly connected to the college’s mission as future alumni.

First-year medical students recently completed their preceptorships, gaining their first clinical experience. Some UF COM alumni — including Daniel Rubin, M.D. ’98, David Remmer, M.D. ’01, and Margarita “Lily” Taboas, M.D. ’99 — are now serving as preceptors themselves and recalled their own experiences shadowing primary care physicians.
